The MAG-TD200 computerized measuring system is designed to measure the dynamic magnetic properties of soft magnetic materials in both alternating and rotational fields.
The system uses the following test circuits: Epstein frame, Single Sheet Tester, yoke for sample with dimensions of (280x30) mm as well as (100x100) mm and toroidal sample in alternating fields . There is also a possibility to use other test circuits according to customer's requests.
In rotational field the measurement of magnetic field strength is realized by direct method. When the yoke of magnetizing circuit and the sample are closed circuit, the system allows measuring dynamic magnetic properties based on indirect or direct measurement of magnetic field strength, likewise on indirect and direct measurement of magnetic field strength simultaneously.
The MAG-TD200 system provides measuring and determination of:
- peak and effective value of field strength
- coercive field strength
- peak value of polarization
- peak and effective value of induction
- remanence
- specific and apparent core losses
- loss separation of hysteresis and eddy-current losses
- initial permeability in Epstein frame 25 cm for: Hm = 0.4 A/m and Hm = 1.6 A/m
- amplitudal and differential relative magnetic permeability
- hysteresis loop for required value of polarization and magnetic field strength with full description of the parameters
- the set of hysteresis loops for different values of polarization and magnetic field strength with full description of the parameters for each data point
- anisotropy of induction (polarization)
- anisotropy of losses
- specific core losses of mixed sample
- magnetizability of mixed sample
- signals of voltage, current, polarization and magnetic field strength as a function of time with full description of the parameters for each data point
- Fourier series distribution with full description and spectral lines diagram (for each measuring point) for function of magnetic field strength, polarization, specific core losses, specific reactive losses and specific apparent losses with determination of deformation losses
In rotational fields all of the above characteristics are measured and determined for two channels X and Y simultaneously.
Moreover, in rotational fields system provides measuring and determination of:
- rotational losses
- an angle between H and B vectors
- hysteresis loops for required value of polarization
All of the above mentioned characteristics can be measured in the range of:
1. For alternating field:
- frequency - (3 ÷ 10000) Hz
- magnetic field strength (for Epstein frame 25cm 50/60 Hz) - (0.1÷ 15000) A/m
- polarization- (0.005 ÷ 2.5) T
2. For rotational field:
- frequency - (5 ÷ 800) Hz
- induction - (0.05 ÷ 1.6) T
- magnetic field strength in depending on material being tested and air gap yoke-sample.
The whole measuring process is fully automated. The measurements fulfil IEC and EN standards.
